Contracts for Creatives
I’m so excited to share a new venture of mine with you today! I’ve mentioned it a few times over on Twitter and shared it with my newsletter subscribers, but now I’m putting it out there for all to see!
Many of you may already know this, but if you don’t, I’m an attorney by profession. I practiced law at a large, regional law firm in Birmingham, Alabama for a few years before moving to Washington, D.C. While I no longer practice law, I still use my law degree at my current 9 to 5, where I’m a legal editor for a global publishing company.
Over the past few months, I’ve been helping out fellow bloggers and creatives (florists, photographers etc.) with a variety of contract work such as contract templates, custom contracts, and contract review, simply through word of mouth referrals.
But now it’s official, I have a website! I launched ashleehightower.com, my contracts-for-creatives site,
You should always protect what you’ve worked so hard to create!
If you’re a blogger or fellow creative (or have any friends or family who are) and need help drafting a contract for your business, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Other than a few announcements here and there, I likely won’t be sharing too much about this new site and service here on Cobalt Chronicles as I realize that you visit my blog for style, travel, and lifestyle inspiration. But if you’re so inclined, feel free to follow along with my new venture on Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop!
