This week wasn’t particularly busy or stressful or filled with all the things, but it somehow managed to drag on a bit. So needless to say, I’m excited that it’s Friday, and I’m even more excited because I’m heading to my home state of Louisiana later today!
Let’s take a look back at the week, shall we?!
On Monday I shared a post that seemed to really resonate with y’all! I received so many comments and DMs about my daily schedule. I’m glad that you seem to enjoy these type of posts too because I seriously LOVE reading about how others organize their day. I’m definitely open to sharing more posts on how I schedule my day and stay organized. If you have a particular question that you’d like for me to address in a blog post, let me know (email me or DM me on Insta!).
I had the opportunity to check out the new Morris American Bar on Monday night and taste a few of their cocktails from the March menu – Y’all, if you live in D.C. or are planning on visiting soon, put this place on your list! The decor is adorable, the drinks are delicious, and the bar tenders are so knowledgable and friendly. They don’t take reservations, so if you’re planning on going, the bartender advised stopping by early (5/6pm) and putting your name down on the list to get a table.
In this week’s #CobaltTravels post, I shared the six credit cards I currently have in my wallet and how I use them to earn points and miles to put towards my travels. You’ve heard me say it before, but points and miles are how Michael and I are able to travel as much as we do! I want you to get in on the game too! Michael goes in depth on all things points and miles on his blog if you’re interested in learning more!
Tuesday evening I convinced Laura to join me at SoulCycle on 14th (she’s a loyal Georgetown Soul rider 😉 ). My legs were still a little sore from my 9-mile run on Sunday, but it was nice to work them out and of course, get a sweat in!
On Wednesday I shared a recap of my February goals and what’s on tap for March. The thing I’m most excited about this month is completing the half-marathon that Michael and I are running in here in D.C. next weekend!
A new South Moon Under store opened in Georgetown this week, and I had the opportunity to check it out Wednesday night at their launch party. The store itself is beautiful, and they have so many cute things for spring! If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
I capped Thursday evening off with one last SoulCycle ride before heading out of town this weekend!
Michael and I are heading down to NOLA later today, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m so excited for warm weather, sunshine, crawfish, cold beer, and especially excited to hang out with our good friends and celebrate a wedding!
We’ll be getting our long 10-mile run in on Saturday so be sure to follow along on Instagram as I’m sure I’ll be sharing lots on Stories!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
