All of today’s Friday Favorites are actually from last Sunday. I didn’t realize how much we squeezed in that day until I went through all of my pictures! We started out the day by visiting the National Building Museum’s The BEACH installation. They have transformed the middle of the museum into an all-white faux beach. I felt like a kid again swimming in the “ocean,” which is made up of nearly one million recyclable translucent balls.
Post beach lunch at Cava Mezze Grill – One of my favorite fast, casual spots.
Next we strolled through the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden. It is a beautiful garden situated in the middle of downtown. It was relatively quiet and such a gorgeous day.
We ended the day at Rare Sweets in City Center DC with a delicious treat. Have a great weekend!
Great “beach” picture!
Thank you! It was so much fun!
So cute! What a fun idea with the transparent balls. The boys would love that! Cute shirt and cut-off’s sista!
Thanks lady! They would LOVE it! There were tons of kids there when we went!
