I hope you enjoyed the weekend!  One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is visit a local farmers market.  I love supporting the local farmers while getting fresh fruits and veggies for the week.  Not only do I enjoy buying locally grown foods, I love the atmosphere of the farmers market.  There are stands serving up delicious breakfast treats like fresh baked muffins and pancakes along side fresh flower stands with beautiful blooms.  And there are always local musicians playing in the background.  I can’t think of a better way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning in the summer.  The local market that I visit the most is the Dupont Fresh Farm Market located right off of Dupont Circle.  I’ll be whipping up a treat with my market finds this week.  I’ll be sure to share on instagram!
