everlane t shirt dress

Cheers to a new week!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I laid pretty low for the most part.  Took a few spin classes – my new addiction, I know I’m a little late to the game 😉 -, celebrated Laura’s birthday with a fun Saturday afternoon hoping around 14th Street, and ended the weekend with a date night at one of my favorite DC spots – Lupo Verde.

This dress has been my throw on and go dress for the past few weeks.  It is absolutely perfect for these scorching days we’ve been having in DC!  And y’all, I really just can’t get enough Everlane in my life!  If you’re new to the brand, they are based in San Fransisco and have the best pieces (at pretty affordable prices!).  Everlane focuses on radical transparency where they share the background of every piece in their collection – where it’s made, what it’s made out of, how much it cost to make etc.  I’m kind of obsessed.

These photos were snapped on our trip to Maine over the 4th of July holiday.  Michael and I stayed with a friend who lives in Portland, ME and as luck would have it, my sweet friend Charlotte happened to be staying close by at her family home over the weekend too!  On this particular morning we stopped by Charlotte’s for breakfast before heading out to stroll along the “cliff walk,” which is a beautiful path that hugs the Atlantic – the views were amazing.  In the spirit of the 4th, I decided to pair my easy Everlane dress (for sizing reference, wearing a size Small) with my favorite Converse sneakers (they go with everything!) and a red bandana for a little extra flair.
