I love that metallics are having a big moment this fall. I’m sure the trend will continue through the holiday season too, I mean, how could it not?! I snagged this metallic blazer a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to style it! It’s such a steal! It runs oversized. I’m wearing a size XS and it still feels a little big. Otherwise, the quality is really great!
3 Ways to Style a Metallic Blazer
1. With a Black Mini Skirt & Knee High Boots
I’m so in love with this look! It’s the perfect date night or girls’ night out outfit. This mini skirt looks so much more expensive that it actually is, it’s only $27. The metallic blazer runs oversized so you’ll want to make sure your mini skirt (or dress) is a tad bit longer than the blazer. You definitely don’t want to look naked from behind. 😉 I’m wearing a size 4 in the mini.
I layered my favorite camisole underneath (I have it in white too!). I’m wearing a size small. The straps are adjustable.
I’ve been eyeing these boots since last year. I finally pulled the trigger, and they’re even better in person! They’re available in a beautiful chocolate brown too! The boots fit TTS.
2. Pair with Jeans and Flats for a Chic Daytime Look
I was so excited to style this metallic blazer with my favorite metallic Mary Jane flats! I was curious to see how they looked together, and to my delight, the paired perfectly! The Mary Jane’s fit TTS.
I love how the white pairs with the silver. I layered this cotton mock neck tank under the blazer (I have this tank in multiple colors). Fits TTS. And threw on my favorite pair of white jeans (I own these in three washes). My jeans fit TTS, I have them in the shortest length for more of a cropped look. I’m 5’4″ for reference.
3. With Black Leather Pants and Black Accessories
I purchased these faux leather pants last fall, and I’ve gotten so much wear out of them! Do yourself a favor and purchase a pair to add to your closet. Mine are last year’s version of this pair. I also love this pair! The metallic blazer pairs perfectly with black leather pants.
I layered the same mock neck tank underneath the blazer, in black this time! My booties are last year’s Schutz black suede boots. Linking similar pairs here and here.
