This is Weldon’s second Halloween, but it’s his first year where we’re really getting into the spooky spirit of the season! I wanted to do something cute for his sweet class at school. His class is full of 2ish year olds so I knew I wanted a candy free Halloween treat. I saw these adorable gift tags on Kirsten McFarlan’s Instagram page (@kirstenmcfarlandesigns) and knew they’d be perfect!
Halloween Class Treats
After I saw the gift tags, I grabbed these mini pop toys from Amazon. They come in sets of four, including a pumpkin, bat, ghost, and skeleton. They’re actually meant to be key chains. They have a hole at the top, which is perfect for attaching the gift tags! I grabbed this skinny ribbon from Amazon as well and pulled out my hole punch and kitchen scissors.
I used the hole punch to punch a hole in each gift tag. After trimming the ribbon, I laced it through the gift tag hole and the key chain hole on the pop toy and tied a cute bow. So easy and so cute!
