An easy and fun Halloween costume!
I’ll start this post by saying nobody does Halloween like New Orleans! A lot of the traditional restaurants downtown and in the French Quarter have annual Halloween lunches the Friday before Halloween. A group of girlfriends and I had a reservation at Arnaud’s for their annual Halloween lunch. Typically, each table chooses a theme for costumes and table decor. This year, our table went with iconic 1990s and 2000s female movie leads. I wanted to do something fun, and Jennifer Garner’s character Jenna Rink from 13 Going on 30 immediately came to mind!
13 Going on 30 Halloween Costume!
If you’ve seen the movie, you definitely know the scene! I’m including links to everything that made my look come together below! The standout was obviously the dead ringer dress! I bought it from this seller on Amazon. It runs small, I’m in a medium. Also, THE SHOES (I paid $34, just for reference as they look like they’re more expensive now). They run TTS and were actually really comfortable, even with the walking in the Quarter that we did before and after our lunch!
For makeup, I used my regular makeup plus added eye shadow from this Rimmel palette, this NYX lip gloss (Summer Fruit), and e.l.f glitter. I used these pasties as the top on the dress is very small (coverage wise).
Other details: Hair Piece (for the bun) | Butterfly Clips | Butterfly Necklace | Resin Rings | Kendra Scott Earrings (I had these) | Rainbow Bracelets (I also had these)
