3 Ways to Style Knee High Boots
Knee high boots are such a fall and winter closet staple! I’ve been eyeing the Schutz Maryana knee high boot since early last fall, and I finally pulled the trigger on them this year! They’re even better than I imagined. I went with the black as I tend to wear a lot of black and camel pieces, but they’re also available in a beautiful chocolate brown color and eggshell (on sale!). Today I’m sharing 3 ways to style knee high boots. Let’s jump in.
An easy way to style knee high boots for work, school functions, meetings, or casual nights out is to pair them with a midi dress. This is also a great way to layer when it’s a bit colder outside. I love this printed midi from Anthropologie. It’s available in lots of different prints. I’m a fan of the black and white motif print. I added a pop of color by accessorizing the look with this beautiful red bag (under $100!).
I find myself styling my knee high boots the most with sweater dresses. It’s an easy combo that looks super cute together. You can easily add opaque or sheer tights to the look once the temps start to drop. I own this sweater dress and this one too. Both perfectly pair with the Schutz Maryana boots!
While knee high boots can certainly be dressed down as in the first two outfits, they also work great for date night or girls’ night out looks! I love pairing knee high boots with mini skirts. To balance out the shortness of the skirt, I prefer to wear something with more coverage on top like an oversized blazer (see this look) or an oversized sweater like this one or this one!
