I know I’ve said it before, but the colors of fall in this city are amazing.  I think it has something to do with the picturesque row house lined streets, but whatever it is, I’m in love.  I’m also in love with this whole outfit!  I searched high and low last fall for a similar faux fur vest and could never find what I was looking for.  So this year when I saw one in August, I snagged it.  It’s great to throw on over a long sleeve blouse or long sleeve dress.  And it easily fits under most overcoats for when it gets colder.

Yes, this shirt again.  It’s a closet staple for sure.  It’s such a great layering piece, and it’s long enough to wear with leggings but looks great with jeans as well!  It’s still available in all sizes in all 4 colors.

 Now can we talk about these new boots?!  Like the vest, I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of black leather ankle boots.  I ordered a few pair that I had to return because for some reason they either looked cheap or made my foot look a mile long (maybe it’s the all black?).  These Louise et Cie boots are perfect.  They are so pretty in person.  The leather is buttery soft and the gold and suede detailing dresses them up a bit.  They’re also really comfortable, which is key for me!  The quality of these boots definitely makes the price tag worth it, that’s for sure.
