Happy Friday! I’m not sure I ever shared what I was doing for Thanksgiving, but it was a whirlwind weekend. Michael and I left D.C. early on Thanksgiving morning to fly to Dallas to spend Thanksgiving with my family at the Dallas Cowboys game, which has kind of become my family’s Thanksgiving tradition. We then headed to Shreveport, Louisiana (my hometown!) on Friday and spent the day catching up with friends. On Saturday morning we made our way down to Baton Rouge to watch the LSU Tigers play. And then on Sunday we headed to New Orleans to fly back to Washington. Sheesh. I’m tired all over again. It was SUCH a fun weekend, and I’m so thankful that we were able to spend time with my family, Michael’s family, and a lot of our close friends over the long weekend. With all of that said, I’m looking forward to a low-key weekend.
– Louisiana is still full of fall colors. I can’t get over how gorgeous the trees were lining the bayou in Shreveport! –
– My favorite little coffee shop opened a new location in Chinatown! –
– The charming streets of Georgetown. Swoon. –
– Cava is my jam. –
– My new go-to Starbuck’s order this fall has been a Chai Latte. Yum! –
Have a wonderful weekend, and as always, thank you SO much for stopping by!
Awesome photos hon, and such a wonderful city.
