Fall in Washington, D.C.

Even though I started sharing holiday content with the kickoff of the Tis the Season series yesterday, it is technically still fall.  And fall in Washington, D.C. is the best!  It has been gorgeous here lately.  The cold hasn’t arrived just yet, and the autumn colors are still filling the city.  It’s days like these that make me appreciate living in a city that gets to experience all four seasons.  It’s sweater and bootie weather for sure, but not full on puffer coat season just yet.  The streets and restaurant patios are filled with Washingtonians trying to soak up every bit of warmth before the dreaded winter cold makes its arrival.  Don’t get me wrong, I love hot summer weather, but fall in the district is pretty great too.

I had to throw these gorgeous tulips in that I picked up last weekend.  They were fresh cut from a local farm in Northern Virginia.  And on sale!  Can’t pass that up.  I hope you have a great weekend ahead of you!  Follow along on Instagram this weekend as I’ll be hitting up the Emporiyum (tickets still available!) and the New Orleans Saints (Redskins) game on Sunday!
