So you may have heard – the sale to end all sales starts tomorrow!
Ok, I know people always say “this is the BEST sale of the year!” But this one really is! That’s right, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Why All the Hype?!
Well I can tell you that it is my absolute favorite sale of the year because every single item that is on sale is BRAND SPANKING NEW. During the Anniversary Sale, Nordstrom debuts their fall pieces at sale prices, but only for a short period of time – then a few weeks later, everything goes back to normal, full price.
Important Dates to Remember
- Thursday, July 13th (tomorrow) – Early Access – If you are a Nordstrom credit card or debit card holder, you can access the sale early.
- Thursday, July 20th – Last day for Early Access.
- Friday, July 21st – The sale opens up to EVERYONE.
- Sunday, August 6th – Last day of the sale. Prices go back to full price the next day!
I know it seems like the sale lasts for a while, and although it does, the good stuff tends to sell out FAST.
Keep in mind that Nordstrom always offers free shipping AND returns, so if you see something you like, snag it before it sells out. You can always return it!
Items to Look Out For
I have my eye out for a nice pair of denim for fall, ankle boots, knee high boots, a pair of loafers, a couple of tops, and either a cashmere cardigan or wrap! And I always invest in a couple of my favorite Natori bras (if you’re smaller chested, they are PERFECT) and a new pair of PJs!
The most popular items usually tend to be designer handbags by Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch (they are occasionally marked down by 40%!), Hunter rain boots, Tory Burch riding boots, affordable fur vests, designer denim, and rag and bone booties.
Obviously this is a great time to snag any designer items that you’ve had on your fall wish list, but I generally like to go for more classic, closet staples. Last year I scored some great basics at AMAZING prices. You can see all of the goodies that I scooped up last year here.
