Last week I shared How to Prep for the Biggest Sale of the Year, which you should definitely check out if you haven’t already! Like I mentioned in the post, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the biggest sale of the year and things sell out fast! It’s a good idea to have in mind what you’ll be looking to purchase during the sale so you can go in with a game plan!
Today I’m sharing a few items that I’m always on the look out for during the sale + a few items that I’ve specifically added to my list this year!
On My List
Everyday Long Cardigans // Last year, I picked up two long cardigans, one heavy and one light. I still wear both on a weekly basis! Yes, even during the summer months. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for a couple of new ones this year!
Booties // The sale always includes a few pairs of really cute booties for fall/winter! This year, I’m looking for a flat pair of pointed toe boots plus a fun pair of healed boots (perhaps a white pair!).
Basic Tops // I always end up snagging a couple of basic blouses that I know I’ll wear through the fall/winter. Tops and blouses are usually marked down a good bit so they’re kind of a no brainer!
Natori Bras // Natori bras are the only bras I wear. If you’re smaller chested, I can’t recommend these enough! They’re usually always included in the sale.
Pajamas // The reason I like to buy PJs during the sale is because I HATE spending a ton of money on pajamas, but at the same time, I like high quality PJs! I’m also in major need of a new robe. I’m crossing my fingers that there’s a short Barefoot Dreams robe included in the sale!
Workout Gear // I usually grab a new pair of Zella leggings and Splits59 leggings plus a workout top or two and a sports bra during the sale!
Running Shoes // I usually buy one pair of new running shoes per year. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to scoop up a new pair up as they usually have a handful of Nike shoes included in the sale!
Mules // This is a new item on my list this year. I have a pair of heeled mules from two years ago that I still love. This year I’m looking for a pair of open-toed mules! I spotted a pair in the preview catalog so I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a good pair for fall!
Coat // Another new item on my list this year! I’m looking for a good everyday wrap/tie coat. There’s a gorgeous Badgley Mischka wool wrap coat in the preview catalog that I’m eyeing!
Be sure to take a peek at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview catalog to get an idea of items that will be included in the sale. And don’t forget, the sale opens to card holders on Thursday, July 12 (sign up for a credit card here!) and opens to the public on Friday, July 20!
