Happy Friday!  Not only is it Friday, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened up to EVERYONE today!  The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be somewhat overwhelming so I wanted to share with you all of the items I’ve purchased so far!  Plus a fit review of everything AND a few items that aren’t worth spending your money on!

There are SO many great pieces included in the sale – Most of them are geared towards fall, but a lot of the items can be worn now too!

As a caveat, I know it’s super annoying that a few of these items are currently sold out, but I’m almost certain they will be restocked at some point during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted when they are!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

This sweater is everything!  It’s super soft, love the colors, and the slight ballon sleeves make it extra fun.  I’m wearing a size 6.  Topshop pieces generally run a little small, so I’d suggest ordering a size up.  These are last year’s version of the Madewell button-fly jeans, but this year’s version is included in the sale!  They run a bit big, I’d recommend sizing down one size.

You can’t go wrong with a Madewell striped top!  I love this pink pinstriped button-up.  It’s pretty thin and can easily be worn through the summer with shorts or even as a cover-up.  Madewell pieces tend to run a bit big, I’m wearing an XS here.

Cardigans are a staple for me during the sale.  I snagged two last year that I STILL wear weekly!  I love this chunky blush piece!  I also snagged it in grey too (see below)!  It’s available in 4 colors.  I’m wearing a size 2.

I know the grey version will be a staple in my closet through the fall and winter!  And I’m OBSESSED with these leopard mules!  I made my mom snag a pair too!  They’re so cute!  The website says to order a size up, but I actually ordered a 1/2 size down.  They run a bit wide in my opinion.  I’m normally a size 7 and have a 6 1/2 in these flats.

I’m in love with this suede jacket!  It’s perfect for fall, and if you live in a warmer climate, it can easily take you through winter too!  I picked up this tee last year, but it’s included in this year’s sale – it’s available in 8 colors and under $12!

Another jacket I can’t get enough of!  This faux leather jacket with a removable hood is a STEAL!  I’m seriously considering keeping both this mushroom color and the dark green pictured below because it’s only $65!  The material is so incredible soft!  Worth every penny!  The photos show the jacket with and without the removable hood.  I’m wearing a size XS here.  If you want to be able to layer a thicker top or sweater underneath, I’d advise sizing up.

The quality of this faux leather jacket is really, really great!  I can hardly believe it’s under $60!  It’s seriously so soft, not cheap feeling at all!  I’m wearing a size 4.  I paired it with an easy white tee (also in the sale!), and my favorite black pair of Madewell jeans (in the sale too!).

One of my favorite purchases from the sale, this fun tee!  It’s so cute, and the perfect weekend t-shirt to pair with jeans.  It’s super soft, and runs true to size.  I’m wearing a size small.

Love the color of this Nike tank!  It’s long enough to wear down with leggings or tie up (I personally like the tee tied up!).  I’m wearing a size small.  And these Zella leggings are my go lounge at home and morning walk leggings!  Also wearing a size small in these.

3 Items I Wouldn’t Recommend

I tried a lot of other items on from the sale.  These three are ones that really disappointed, and I recommend not wasting your time (or money) on them.  🙂

Madewell Trench Coat // It pains me to talk bad about Madewell, but this trench was a complete flop.  The material isn’t nice, and the fit was just plain off.

UGG Pajamas // I really wanted to find a new pair of pajamas in the sale.  I thought with the UGG name, this pair would be super soft and comfy, wrong!  These will be going back to the store ASAP.

Free People Sweater // I really wanted to like this sweater.  It’s actually more yellow than orange in person, which I really liked.  However, it’s way too oversized and with the deep v-neck and the waist band, it just didn’t work.
