The fall foliage is out in full force in the nation’s capital, and the weather was perfect this weekend.  Cool but not cold, the perfect weather to throw on a poncho!  Once again, I’m pretty into the idea of it being totally acceptable to basically wear a blanket outside of the house.  With that being said, I’d like to introduce you to another (slightly different) poncho today.  This Old Navy poncho is amazing.  It’s a lot higher quality than I expected, and it’s more oversized than I thought it would be, which I love.  I really like how this poncho has arm holes so it’s a little more like a jacket + poncho combo.  It’s nice and cozy, but depending on the weather, you can layer it with a t-shirt, a long sleeve, or a sweater underneath.  It’s perfect for this time of year when you don’t need a coat quite yet but definitely need a second layer. I opted for layering mine with a thin sweater from Zara.  This particular sweater is perfect for layering.  And it comes in 6 colors and is under $20.  As a sizing note, I went with a large in the sweater because I wanted to be oversized.  The poncho is available in 4 different colors – I’m really liking the teal plaid one as well!
