I’m soaking up every last bit of summer!  I know once Labor Day hits (aka the beginning of SEC football), I’ll be in full on fall mode so I’m trying to really enjoy these next couple of weeks, starting with this weekend.  But before we get to the weekend, let’s have a little week in review, shall we?

I didn’t really mention how I spent last weekend here on the blog, and honestly, there isn’t much to share, except for one thing – If you live in DC or are planning on visiting in the next couple of weeks, please make a point to go to Jazz in the Garden at the National Sculpture Garden!  I went earlier in the summer with my mom and sister and last weekend with Michael.  It is one of the coolest (and free!) events in the city.  Perk – their sangria is outstanding!

On Monday I shared a little July Instagram roundup with y’all.  And managed to make it to spin class after work!  #win

I received so much feedback on Tuesday’s travel post talking about the top carry on bags!  Y’all are the best!  I’m still narrowing it down on which bag I want to get, but I’ll be sure to keep you posted!

On Wednesday I recapped The Blog Societies Conference that I attended in Charleston.  If you’re considering going next year, definitely check out the post!  After work I got what I’m pretty certain is my last light colored manicure until the spring.  I love you Tiramisu for Two, but I can’t wait to have a little Lincoln Park After Dark back in my life.

And as I’m writing this post, it’s Thursday evening and I’m on the train heading to NYC!  But just for the night.  Michael and I are heading out to the Hamptons with friends this weekend, and I can’t wait.  I’m a first timer so definitely send recs if you have any!  And definitely follow along on Snapchat for all the fun!  username: cobaltchronicle
