Happy Spring! It’s officially that time! Although, it was in the thirties and raining all weekend in DC … I think the weather is supposed to get its act together this week. With the blah weather all weekend, I was actually super productive. I reorganized the SHOP tab at the top of the site into categories so it’s easier to navigate. I generally update the SHOP tab a few times a week (sometimes daily). You can shop directly from the page(s) by clicking on each item! Check it out and let me know what you think! I also did a BIG closet clean out/seasonal swap (you might be able to catch a behind the scenes snap on snapchat if you’re reading this early enough … username: cobaltchronicle). I’m hoping to get a post about my process for closet purging up at some point over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!
This dress may look familiar as I shared a post on how to style it for the transitioning weather here. Today, I’m showing off this Forever 21 Dress (what a find!) and spotlighting these Hinge wedges in a full-on spring look! This dress is such a great steal from Forever – it’s only $23 and looks WAY more expensive than that. I love the high neckline. It balances out the length of the dress. For sizing reference, I’m 5’4″ and wearing a size small.
I lived in these wedges last summer! The height is PERFECT. Especially if you live in a bigger city where you’re walking non-stop. I love being able to add a little height without killing myself while walking to work and/or out and about on the weekends. This color is still available, and Nordstrom came out with 3 additional colors this spring! I’m definitely scooping up the congac pair soon!
