Something a little different for y’all today!  People often ask me how and why I started this blog, and they usually follow up by asking what’s my favorite thing about blogging.

My favorite thing about blogging, hands down, is the connections that I’ve been able to make with other bloggers and creatives here in D.C. and throughout the country.  I’ve met so many amazing people through blogging, some of which have become some of my closest friends here in D.C.!

One of the first people I met after I launched Cobalt Chronicles was my friend Elise, the lady boss behind Ringlet Studio.  In the short time that I’ve known Elise, she started her own business, has hosted numerous workshops, and is a constant supporter of other female entrepreneurs in the D.C. area.

Needless to say, I was beyond flattered when she asked me to contribute to her “Resources to Grow Your Business” page.
