If you follow along on Snapchat (username: cobaltchronicle), you saw that the holiday parties were in full swing over the weekend!  On Friday night, I had the pleasure of attending the #likeaboss party hosted by a group of lady bosses and Diet Coke.

Finding the perfect dress to wear to holiday parties is tough.  If you couldn’t have guessed, I’m not much of a sparkles kind of gal, so finding this neutral grey sweater dress was like hitting the jackpot!  First of all, it’s PERFECT for the winter weather AND this grey sweater dress is warm enough that you don’t have to wear tights.  Secondly, since it’s a neutral grey, it can easily be dressed up by adding a few accessories and a fun pair of heels.  (It’s so cute with booties too for a more casual look!)

I wore this grey sweater dress and heels to the shindig on Friday night and it fit in perfectly with the mix of casual outfits and glammed out holiday looks.  I also wore it a few weeks ago to a wedding – I’m pretty sure I’ve found my go-to winter dress!  As a sizing tip, before this grey sweater dress, I’ve never been able to find a sweater dress that didn’t cling and hug in all the wrong places.  This one hangs just right.  For reference, I’m wearing an XS.
