Week In Review

Cobalt Chronicles

Cheers to the weekend!  This week was one of those weeks leading up to the holidays that was slam packed with holiday parties, organizing gifts, multiple runs to the mall, and one big Target run.

First, let’s back up all the way to Sunday because I have to share the CUTEST cookie decorating party that I’ve ever been to!  Monica and Libby hosted a few of us at Karson Butler Events on Sunday for a girl’s afternoon filled with bubbly and plenty of cookies … check out Katie’s recap here (the photos alone are worth clicking over to check it out!) and Monica’s recap here.

On Monday I shared a sweater dress that’s great for the holidays  and winter weddings – it’s currently on sale and under $50!  On Monday night I had the pleasure of joining a few of my favorite blogger friends for Kristyn’s Bloggers’ Favorite Things dinner at The Hamilton. It was such a fun night!  Kristyn shared her favorite things with us including this Kendra Scott ring and this perfect Vera Bradley crossbody bag (I can’t get enough of the leather VB bags!).  My favorite things included this Candlefish candle and this adorable Christmas mug.

I shared a unique Christmas gift idea on Tuesday.  As another similar idea, but for beauty lovers, the Birch Box subscription box can be sent as a gift – You can send a 3 month subscription for just $30!  On Tuesday night I hit up Target, and y’all, it was so nice.  I never go to Target here, mostly because I don’t have a car, but it was so nice to leisurely stroll through the isles and snag a bunch a stuff I don’t really need. 😉

On Wednesday I talked about the off the shoulder trend and shared a new-to-me online boutique, Gray Monroe (this cute dress is coming to the blog soon!).

And on Thursday I shared another Gift Guide, this one includes tons of great gift ideas under $50!  Thursday night I stopped by Cherry Blossom Creative and finally snagged one of their map prints (if you hurry, you can probably see the map I picked out on Snapchat, username: cobaltchronicle) – I love it!

I’m so excited to be heading off to NYC this afternoon for a weekend filled with SO. MUCH. Christmas!  There’s really nothing better than New York at Christmas time.  Be sure to follow along on Snapchat and Instagram as I’m sure I’ll be sharing a ton from the city all weekend!
