I hope you had a great first week back at work!  Wouldn’t it be nice to have Monday off every week? 😉  There’s something about having a Monday off of work that makes me feel so productive!  I kicked off my morning with Monica in Georgetown to shoot a few pics and then we hopped on over to Grace Street Coffee to treat ourselves for making it out in the rainy weather that morning.  I spent the rest of my day using this method to do a total closet clean out!

On Tuesday I got back to the blog after having somewhat of a sporadic posting schedule over the holidays.  It was nice to relax and unplug for a bit.  My first post of 2017 was a look back at 2016, and I included a few personal highlights that hadn’t been included here on Cobalt Chronicles during the year.  It’s always crazy looking back on an entire year and realizing how much I’ve done and where I’ve traveled, especially this year!

On Wednesday I stepped out of my jeans comfort zone and shared a fun dress + over the knee boots look with y’all!  As a side note, I was skeptical about these over the knee boots, but I have to say, they’ve been one of my most worn boots so far this fall/winter!

Back to the sporadic posting schedule for a minute – I finally had some time this week to sit down and really think about my goals for Cobalt Chronicles this year and where I would like to see this little corner of the internet go in 2017.  With the exception of a few holidays, I’m planning on sticking to a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday posting schedule where there will be a new post here on the blog every weekday except for Thursday.  On Thursday, in lieu of a post, I’ll be sending out a weekly newsletter!  The newsletter will, for the most part, include exclusive content that won’t be featured here on the blog, so be sure to sign up so you don’t miss out!  You can sign up on the right side of the screen – the “SUBSCRIBE” tab.  Just enter your name and email address, you’ll receive a confirmation email to confirm the subscription, and you’re all set!

I’m looking forward to a relaxing and productive weekend.  It’s supposed to be freezing here, so you can likely find me curled up working/movie watching on the couch for the majority of the weekend!  And if Michael and I are feeling crazy, we might even test out our fireplace(!) … Stay tuned on Snapchat (cobaltchronicle), I’m sure it won’t go as planned … But fingers crossed!
