Week In Review

I feel like I talk about the weather a lot here, but it has such a huge affect on my mood, especially since I walk almost everywhere!  This week has, without a doubt, been one of the warmest and sunniest of the spring season thus far!

On Monday I shared how LIFEWTR has helped me stick to one of my New Year’s resolutions.  How fun are their bottles?!  Monday night a friend had extra tickets to the Nationals baseball game; it was sunny and 75 degrees, so Michael and I jumped at the chance to spend the evening at Nats Park!  (They won, 14-6 in case you were wondering!)

On Tuesday I shared a travel recap + a look ahead at my travels for 2017.  On that same note, Michael and I actually booked two of those trips last night – here we come Punta Cana and St. Croix!  I’ll be sharing more on how we managed to book both trips with points, which saved us almost $2,500(!!), in next week’s Travel Tuesday post.

Tuesday night I joined Monica and Jenn for the Pinea Patio opening at the W Hotel in Downtown D.C.  The weather was SO perfect that night!  The patio is right by the National Mall (actually right next to the Treasury building) and has tons of outside seating plus two bocce ball courts!

Wednesday kicked off Shopbop’s Event of the Season sale – I rounded up my favorite picks, all under $100 pre-sale price in Wednesday’s post!  Today is the last day of the sale so shop your little heart out!

Thursday was pretty run of the mill, and now it’s Friday!  TGIF!

I’m excited for a fun day tomorrow – Laura and I have been working on a fun event for the D.C. area members of The Blog Societies – we’ll be sweating it out at SoulCycle tomorrow morning and heading to a fun brunch afterwards!  Be sure to follow along on Instagram as I’ll be sharing lots over on Instagram Stories!  And tomorrow afternoon Michael and I are heading to one of our favorite events of the season here in D.C., the Pearl Dive Crawfish Boil!  All you can eat crawfish + unlimited hurricanes and Abita beer, YES PLEASE!

Have a wonderful weekend!
