We made it! When I was looking back on my week to do this little week in review, my mind was blown when I remembered that Halloween was on Monday. Meanwhile, yesterday I had a holiday drink from Starbucks and soup for lunch that was served in a Christmas tree clad cup. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas, but can we have a minute to recoup from Halloween before we dive right into another holiday?! (Note: I’m sure I’ll be playing Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas album on repeat by Monday.)
For Halloween, Michael and I found out pretty last minute that our street has an annual Halloween block party. Y’all, it did not disappoint. There were tons of trick-or-treaters, one neighbor set up a legit DJ booth on his front porch, and any neighbor that has a grill brought it out and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for the entire street. All of this went down in the middle of the city (sounds much more suburb-y, right?!). It was so much fun! If you want to see my last minute/$3 costume, you can check it out here. On Tuesday I ventured to the Apple store for them to tell me that I needed a new phone, even though I’ve only had mine for one year … I swear they do this on purpose every time a new model comes out.
I shared the Shopbop Surprise Sale with y’all on Wednesday. It was supposed to end yesterday, but I checked this morning, and there are still a ton of pieces on sale! If you see something you like, I’d snatch it up while the price is still cut. With free shipping and returns, you can always send it back, but better to snag it while it’s still on sale! You may have seen on Snapchat, but I had a marathon session at the hair salon Wednesday evening where I chopped off a good bit and colored my hair for the first time ever! I’m so excited that it’s Friday, but maybe even more excited about Saturday!
