Week In Review | Cobalt Chronicles

Charleston

Happy Friday!  If you follow me on any social media channels, you’ve probably seen that I’m in Charleston for The Blog Societies Conference.  Charleston is by far one of my favorite cities in the South.  There is a touch of charm everywhere you look!  I stumbled upon this gorgeous church yesterday afternoon while wandering around.  I mean, can it be any more beautiful?!  I’ll be sharing more from Charleston over the weekend and next week so stay tuned!

As for my week in review, as I mentioned last Friday, my mom and sister were in town last weekend and stayed in DC until Monday morning.  We had the BEST time!

Monday I shared this transitional look with y’all.  I’m seriously loving this sweater!  It has been HOT in DC lately, but I’ve still worn it a couple of times because I just couldn’t wait.  After work on Monday I worked on a fun project that I can hopefully share with you guys in September!

You may have noticed that there was no Travel Tuesdays post this week.  Don’t worry, I’ll be back next week with a fresh one!  Heading to the conference at the end of the week had me scrambling around like a mad woman trying to get everything together so Travel Tuesdays took a back seat.  Sometimes, something’s got to give, ya know?!

I know y’all are probably sick of hearing about it and wondering when I’m going to stop talking about it, but on Wednesday I shared a roundup of the best pieces still in stock and under $100 at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  There are still some great items left, and prices go back up on Monday so be sure to snag those fall staples!

Thursday I headed out to Charleston for the conference.  And of course I have a small world story (I feel like I always have these types of run-ins!).  I’ve followed Brittney on social media for a while now, but we’ve never actually met in person.  She happened to be at my gate at the airport yesterday as she was heading to the conference too!  She lives in Tampa so it was so random that she was connecting through DC.  And then, we happened to be sitting right next to one anther.  It was a fun way to kick off the conference weekend!

Today there are tons of fun events planned at the conference.  I’m looking forward to learning a lot today in hopes that I can bring you guys more valuable content in the future!  Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat (cobaltchronicle) throughout the weekend!  I’ll be sharing a lot from the conference on Snapchat.  😉

Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by!
