TGIF! This week has been a busy one! Start making your wishlist because there is some good stuff! After scouring the sale online yesterday morning, I popped into my local Nordstrom to try a few pieces on! Monday evening I attended my first (ever!) meditation class at Take Five Meditation here in D.C. It was amazing. I’m itching to get back into the studio this weekend. On Tuesday I shared Michael and I’s trip to Barcelona, on of our favorite European cities. Stay tuned for a recap of our time spent in Berlin – It’s hitting the blog next week! Tuesday night I had a dinner date with Sarah at Tiger Fork – if you’re in D.C. and haven’t been yet, GO! Such a cool vibe and the service and food are both outstanding! After dinner I met Michael downtown for a film screening. One of Michael’s favorite photographers, Chris Burkard, was previewing his new film, Under an Arctic Sky, which follows six surfers who set sail along the frozen shores of Iceland, knowing that the worst storm to hit the country in twenty-five years is about to arrive. I won’t ruin the ending (it’s more of a documentary than a movie) … it was awesome! Definitely check it out if you have the opportunity.
Wednesday I had a much needed catch up session with some of my favorites. Monica, Katie, Laura, Kristyn, Jenn and I met up for margs and guac, which is always a recipe for a good time!
Yesterday I shared my top picks from the Nordstrom Sale. I placed an online order yesterday morning, which I’ll be sharing with you next week! I popped by a Bastille Day event last night that Dani was hosting at ELOQUII in Pentagon City Mall, and since I was there, I stopped in Nordstrom and tried on a few things I purchased that morning and ended up with a couple of new items in my closet as well …
