Things are looking a little different around here today … 🙂  Michael is usually the one behind the camera, but for today’s post I persuaded him to be the front man.

Michael very rarely shops, and when he does, he is very particular about what pieces he spends money on.  His favorite brand by-far is Bonobos, so when they reached out and asked me to share a few tips on staying cool during the hot summer months, I knew he had to get in front of the camera.

Bonobos Chinos

He’s a big fan of the Bonobos chinos so I asked Michael what he loves most about them.  His response, the fit and breathability.  He prefers the Straight Fit.  The chinos are straight legged without being too tight.  The cool grey color of this particular pair is perfect for the summer months and a nice alternative to traditional khaki pants.

One of my favorite things about the Bonobos Chinos is the patterned fabric that peeks through the back pockets.  You can see what I mean in a photo below. It’s a fun detail without being too over the top.

Bonobos Tees

Another one of Michael’s favorite summer style pieces is the Bonobos tee.  He owns several different colors, and even I can attest to their softness.  They’re easy throw-on-and-go shirts that look cool and casual and can easily be paired with shorts or jeans when it’s a little cooler out.
