TGIF! This week has been a long one. I had to address some foot issues at the podiatrist that I’ve been dealing with from running and ended up having to have a minor procedure done. Even though it was minor, it kind of knocked me off my feet (literally) this week. I’m so looking forward to a chill few days and hopefully getting some much needed rest.

Weekly Workouts
This week’s workouts …
I did a 30-minute strength training class via the Peloton app on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. I skipped Wednesday because of my foot issue. Thursday I made do and did an arm workout, shoeless. 🙂 And today (Friday) I’ll be doing a yoga class via the app too!
Michael and I have been playing tennis on the weekends, but sadly, I think that train has come to a halt until my foot heals. Hoping to find another way to stay active while it runs its course!

Weekend Plans
My sister-in-law (Michael’s sister) and her fiancĂ© are in Houston this weekend and staying with us for a night. I’m excited to see some familiar faces!
Other than that, just your typical weekend at home – SEC football and hanging out on our back deck! This is our last weekend in Houston for a while. We’re going on an extended road trip next week and will be gone until the second weekend in November. So I’ll be soaking up this chill weekend at home.
My Favorite Things this Week
Golden Hour All-In-One Palette // This is the BEST eye and cheek palette! I’m obsessed with the easy to mix and match eye shadows (there are four) and the gorgeous blush and highlighter! The highlighter has been my go-to everyday this week when I needed a little extra glow!
Rib Sweater Tank // After getting this tank in the cream color (Sandstorm), I loved it so much that I snagged it in black too! It’s the perfect fall piece for warmer climates! I wore it alone here and as a layering piece here. I have it in a size small. Great buy for $30!
