Happy Friday!  From another city!  Last week, I was in NYC, the week before, Lake Tahoe.  And today … I’m excited to be in Portland, Oregon!  Michael and I arrived in Portland yesterday around noon and had a full day of hopping around the city.  It’s our first time visiting so we’re excited to scope everything out!

Let’s take a look back at this week before jumping into the weekend!

Monday

On Monday, I shared details about our road trip from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe to Napa Valley!  If you’re considering a California trip anytime soon, definitely check out the post!

I worked at home most of the day on Monday, and closed out the day with SoulCycle class.  I really try to stick with my Monday mantra, #nevermissamonday, in regard to my workout routine.  It keeps me accountable!

Tuesday

I shared a long blog post on Tuesday recapping my recent trip to Napa!  I included all the details on where we stayed, where we ate, and what wineries we visited.  I’m already planning our next trip out to wine country!

I spent the morning working on blog posts and behind the scenes projects like finally adding a highlights section to my Instagram page.  Check it out here!  I organized all of my summer travels into different highlights so if you saw something you want to go back to or if you’re planning a trip and need a reference, those Stories are easily accessible!

Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, I joined my friends who work with Territory Foods for an event they were helping sponsor downtown.  I spent the morning chatting with the Territory folks and learning more about the background of the company.

If you follow along with me on Instagram Stories, you’ve likely seen Michael and I eating the Territory meals at home.  Basically, they delivered already-prepared meals right to your doorstep.  The meals are all super healthy, and you can even easily customize your meals too!  If you’re interested in trying out the meals, you can use code COBALT to score $50 off across your first two orders ($25 off the 1st, $25 off the 2nd).

I squeezed in another SoulCycle class on Wednesday before heading out of town on Thursday.

Thursday

Michael and I woke up bright and early to catch a 6AM flight out of DCA to Portland, Oregon.  With the time difference, we arrived in Portland around noon.  Like I mentioned, it’s our first time visiting so we were excited to hit the ground running.  We went to Shalom Y’all for lunch, which was AMAZING.  Seriously, so good.  We grabbed a pick-me-up coffee at Heart afterwards and then roamed around downtown.  We popped in Powell’s Books, the world’s largest independent bookstore, before heading to Great Notion Brewing for a little beer tasting.  We ended the night at Ken’s Artisan Pizza.

Weekend Plans

We’re planning on visiting a couple of vineyards in Willamette Valley tomorrow (helllllo, Oregon Pinot Noir!) with no real plans for the evening.  On Saturday, we’re going on a short hike before watching the Tigers and Rebs play.  I’m excited to check out more of what Portland has to offer.  So far, I’m loving this little city!

Favorite Things This Week

Everlane Jeans // I snagged this pair of jeans last week in NYC, and I’ve worn them multiple times already!  I love the stretch fabric and the high waist.  I’m also a fan of the $68 price point!  They run TTS.

Everlane Tee // Another Everlane find that I picked up last week in NYC!  This tee is only $16 and worth every penny.  I’m regretting not grabbing it in other colors too!  It runs TTS, I’m wearing a size small.

Becca Highlighter // Thanks to Kara, I was able to snag this full-size Becca highlighter from Sephora for FREE with my banked VIB points this week.  I never pay attention to Sephora’s emails, but this week they were running a special on free gifts with VIB points, and I happened to catch Kara talking about it on her Instagram!  It’s a product I’ve had my eye on, but I hadn’t pulled the trigger.  I was so excited to get my hands on it, and even more excited that it didn’t disappoint!  I have it in Champagne Pop, and it provides the perfect glow!
