It felt like summertime all weekend here in D.C., and it was glorious!  It was hot and humid, but I’ll take that over cold weather any day.

Today I’m sharing an all white look that I actually shot back in March when I was in West Palm Beach!  Wearing an all white outfit is a little tricky and definitely takes some planning.  I don’t mean that it’s a hard look to pull off, I mean that you have to take into consideration what you’ll be doing that day/night.  If you’re anything like me, wearing white jeans or a white top almost guarantees spilling some sort of food or drink on myself, sitting in something nasty, or somehow messing up the pristine white fabric.  So I’m picky on when and where I choose to rock the all white look.

On this particular evening, we were heading out for dinner and drinks at a nicer restaurant and not much more so I figured I was safe.  And even if something tragic were to happen, I was only planning on being out and about for a couple of hours anyways.

You guys know I love my AE white jeans.  I rave about them all the time, but I know you’re probably still a little hesitant because of the brand.  I’m telling you, you need to give them a try!  I finally got Monica on board last week and she LOVES them!  I actually ordered a second pair over the weekend – in the short length to avoid having to cuff them.  For sizing reference, I usually wear a size 26/27 in denim (lean towards a 27), and I wear a size 4 in these jeans.

This top is by one of my favorite brands for resort inspired clothing – Buckley K.  The detailing on their pieces is always so gorgeous, and this top is no exception.  The hand woven embroidery plus the tassels add a nice pop of color to the all white look, and I love the thin gold rope straps!

I finished off the look with my go-to wedges and Le Specs sunglasses.
