Robert Mondavi Private Selection

Maybe it’s the southerner in me, but I love having friends over to our apartment, whether it be for a football Saturday or a happy hour before heading out to dinner.  My go-to appetizer, which is easy, delicious, and looks much fancier than it really is, is a charcuterie tray (or trays!).  I always keep items on hand to throw this appetizer together as well as a few bottles of Robert Mondavi Private Selection wine that I keep stashed on my bar cart.

Even if you don’t have these items on hand, you can find them all at your local grocer.  There’s no cooking involved so you’ll be good to go in no time!  Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Robert Mondavi Private Selection wine (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are my faves!)
  • Prosciutto (Salami or Capocollo are nice alternatives!)
  • Goat Cheese
  • Herb Cheese (Dill Havarti is a favorite of mine!)
  • Hummus
  • Fresh Salsa
  • Strawberries and/or Grapes
  • Marcona Almonds (Rosemary seasoned are SO good!)
  • Crackers/Pretzel Crisps/Pita Chips

You can definitely pick and choose your favorite meats and cheeses to add to the tray(s), and you can get creative with the dips as well!  A local market by my apartment has a jalapeño feta dip that I always add to the spread!  Also, the Robert Mondavi Private Selection wine is available in so many varietals (12 to be exact!) so you can pick your favorites!  You might recognize that Robert Mondavi Private Selection has a new, sleek label (to match its bold but smooth taste!).  With the amazing price point of the Robert Mondavi Private Selection wine, especially for the unbeatable flavor, I usually keep a couple of bottles of both a red and white varietal on hand for these impromptu get togethers at home!

Need to try this wine! Your setup looks amaze. And thanks (but kinda ugh) for getting me hooked on marcona almonds 🙂

I’m not usually a huge fan of white wine, but the Chardonnay is delish! And there could be a lot worse snack than almonds to be addicted too! haha
