I’m at the beach with my family this week on our annual beach trip to Destin, Florida. It’s one of my favorite trips of the year, every year! This year we’re here for an entire week, and I’m so jazzed about it.
Today I’m sharing my beach day essentials! The essentials I’ll have with me everyday this week.
Beach Day Essentials
Scout Beach Bag // My favorite beach bag is currently 25% off! I love Scout Bags for all occasions, but especially for the beach! I have the Original Deano. I’ve had this bag for three years running now, and it’s still in perfect condition! The bag has a hard bottom, which makes it ideal for carrying just about anything. The material can get wet and easily wipes clean. It also collapses to lay flat, which makes it perfect for packing in a suitcase if you’re flying to the beach like me!
Summersalt Swimsuit // Summersalt swimsuits have been everywhere this season, and for good reason! I figured I might as well try one out, and now I understand the hype! I have the Confetti Deep Dive suit, and it’s the BEST one piece suit I’ve ever owned. The fit is amazing and the suit is really flattering. I also have the Plunge Bikini Top in white sand. It pairs perfectly with a black bikini bottom I’ve had for years.
Lightweight Cover Up // I’ve been eyeing this coverup since this spring and finally scooped it up for this beach trip! It’s the perfect weight for hot beach days. It’s breezy and long enough to wear to the beach bar too! And it’s a steal at only $22!
Beach Sandals // I scooped up this pair of sandals before our January wedding in the Bahamas and brought them with me on this beach trip too! They’re easy and pair perfectly with almost anything.
Mineral Sunscreen // By now you likely know that I’m all about the mineral sunscreen! My favorites are the original Countersun Mineral Lotion, the Countersun Mineral Mist, and the Countersun Mineral Sunscreen Stick.
Quay Sunglasses // My go-to sunglasses! The thick frames are perfect for standing up to the beach heat.
Beach Read // I love knocking out a few books on every beach trip. I’m currently finishing up Michelle Obama’s Becoming. I highly recommend it! As if my one SoulCycle class that I took with Michelle in DC didn’t already make me feel like we were BFFs, this book certainly does! It’s fun to read about her perspective on politics and all that comes with being the first lady.
Straw Hat // I’ve gone through so many beach hats, and I’m here to tell you that this is one is worth EVERY PENNY! It’s super sturdy, fits great, and is super stylish!
