When I have plans after work, I tend to put a little more effort into my office attire.  I need something that’s office appropriate but also makes me feel great when going to meet friends for drinks or heading to an event after hours.

Back to this outfit … these black trousers were such a great find!  I had been looking for new black work pants for a while and stumbled across these.  I was skeptical since I tend to stick to very slim fitting pants, but these turned out to be perfect!  They’re a great staple black trouser that can easily be worn with flats and a flowy, untucked top (I wear that combo to work a lot!).  They’re also available in olive which would be so perfect for fall and winter!

I paired the trousers with a simple white blouse and my favorite nude heels (they go with EVERYTHING!) and threw on a fun necklace to add a little interest.
