TGIF! I can’t wait to kick off one of my favorite weekends of the year – Ole Miss vs. LSU weekend! Being from Louisiana, ever since my freshman year of college at Ole Miss, this has been one of my favorite weekends because two of my worlds collide. Michael (who’s a tiger fan) and I are heading down to Baton Rouge today where both of our families will be, and I’ll get to see a few of my LSU and Ole Miss friends too! I’m ecstatic!
This week was a fun one with lots of stuff going on so how about a little week in review?! On Monday I shared a casual fall look with y’all – I LOVE the blue scarf + gold flats! Monday night I had the pleasure of attending a dinner party at Susanna Quinn’s home in Georgetown and learned all about her on demand beauty app, Veluxe! There was a small group of ladies – some fellow bloggers, journalists, and entrepreneurs – I left that night with all the #girlboss feels!
On Tuesday I shared my Seattle Travel Guide, and it made me want to go back ASAP!
Wednesday morning started off with a bang – I had the opportunity to try out Flywheel for the first time. One of the co-founders, Ruth Zuckerman, was in town teaching the class. It was brutal but awesome! I also shared an easy office to happy hour look with y’all (I’ve worn the pants from this post 3 times this week #oops)! After work, I ventured over to the Junior League building for my monthly meeting – I volunteer with Bright Beginnings through the Junior League, and it’s pretty much the best thing ever. You can read more about Bright Beginnings here! Also, stay tuned for a happy hour that I’m helping to host that will benefit the program – you’re all invited!
Thursday was my Friday so I headed to happy hour last night at Bar Charley with Charlotte and Katie for burgers and girl talk – always the perfect end to the week!
I’ll leave you with the one deal that you NEED to take advantage of this weekend – I scooped up this coat (an early birthday present – thanks Mom!) this week, it’s currently 30% off!! This NEVER happens! I have this one from last year (still obsessed), it’s on sale too. I also love this coat and this classic vest. Seriously, scoop these up while you can! I can’t recommend the quality of these coats enough. Totally worth the investment.
I’m off to the bayou state! Be sure to follow along on Snapchat (username: cobaltchronicle) where I’ll be snapping all of the crazy cajuns all weekend long! 😉
So sad I missed HH but glad you guys had fun!! And I realllly want that cocoon coat! Next year is looking more likely but I’ll be envious every time you wear it 🙂
We missed you too! I had a hard time deciding between the cocoon and chateau parka last year! They’re all so good!
