To say this weekend in New Orleans was a tease for spring would be an understatement! It was in the mid-60s/70s and sunny all weekend long. I was so excited to pull out a few new spring pieces and leave my coat at home.
Blush is a big color for spring and, in my opinion, it’s a new neutral. I picked up this blush long sleeve tee (also available here) a few weeks ago, but this was my first time breaking it out. It’s so incredible soft (a bit slinky, if that makes sense) and just the right weight for springtime temps. We spent the afternoon at Tchoup Yard, an outside patio bar, to enjoy the warm weather.
I paired the blush long sleeve tee with distressed denim (loving this pair!), my favorite blush mules, and an oversized white satchel. Since it was a quick trip, I actually used the satchel as my personal carry-on item. It’s pretty big and fit my camera and laptop along with all of my smaller purse items.
It’ll likely be a while before we see the warm weather here in D.C., but on a positive note, at least the time changes this weekend! Anything to move us closer to patio and rooftop weather here in the city!
