Capes are one of my favorite pieces to bring out every fall/winter. Why? Because they’re basically blankets that are socially acceptable to wear out in public. 😉
Capes are actually perfect for the transitional weather we’re having right now too! In this particular look, I paired my Cabi cape with a light, short-sleeved tee. The cape adds a nice fall touch while the tee keeps it cool. When the temperatures decide to take a tumble, I’ll likely pair this cape with a turtleneck or similar long-sleeved tee.
You’ve heard me rave about the quality of Cabi pieces before, and this one is no exception. It is SO incredibly soft and thick! I love the fringe detailing!
One styling tip for when you’re rocking your cape this fall … since capes tend to be longer and generally consist of a lot of fabric, I prefer to pair them with a bit of a heeled shoe. The added height makes the cape look less overwhelming, especially if you’re on the petite side (I’m 5’4″ for reference).
I’m partial to this black & white Cabi cape, but I included four other cozy capes that I’m eyeing below!
