Sweater Weather: cabi Fall 2020 Favorites!

This post is in collaboration with cabi.

Back in August, I shared a few of my favorite pieces from the cabi Fall 2020 collection. I also shared 3 ways to style the super versatile Autumn Dress from the collection! Now that it’s cooled down a bit outside and is officially sweater weather, I’m excited to feature a few of my favorite sweaters from the same collection!

As a side note, all of the cabi pieces are non-maternity. See sizing references for info on how I sized up to accommodate the bump!

cabi is a women owned (and run) brand. The quality of cabi’s pieces is top notch. I say this every time I share cabi pieces, but the quality of the clothing pieces in person ALWAYS exceeds my expectations! Every season they come out with the cutest pieces! They release their pieces on a seasonal basis, so the pieces you see here are only available for the fall season. Once the season is over, the pieces are gone forever!

Dani Pullover

Dani Pullover

The perfect pullover for fall and winter! The weight of the Dani Pullover is perfection. It’s not super thick, the fabric is super soft and luxurious. It’s the perfect length for pairing with your favorite leggings. It looks super cute with skinny jeans too! For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size Small.

McQueen Coat & Replay Top

McQueen Coat

The McQueen Coat is everything I need in a coat for fall and winter! This coat is a multi-season piece for me as well as for my girls in warmer climates. The faux shearling is super cozy and it’s fleece lined! I recommend sizing down one size as it fits pretty oversized. I paired it with the Replay Top, which I shared in more detail in this post! For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size X-Small the McQueen Coat and a size Small in the Replay Top.

Tilt Cardigan & V-Neck Cami

Tilt Cardigan

In need of an easy cardigan to throw on and go? The Tilt Cardigan is right up your alley! It’s a heavier weight cardigan, and I love the asymmetrical color blocking! For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size Small in both the Tilt Cardigan and the V-Neck Cami.

Tuck Turtleneck

Tuck Turtleneck

I’m a sucker for creamy neutrals anytime of the year! The Tuck Turtleneck has a bit of a heathering to the fabric. I really love the tuck detailing at the shoulders. The fit of this sweater is a little more form fitting, so I recommend sizing up one size if you’re looking for a more relaxed fit. For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size Medium. I sized up to a medium to ensure it fit over the bump.

Solace Dress

Solace Dress

The softest sweater dress you’ll ever own! The Solace Dress is like butter. Not itchy in even one sense of the word. I love the cowl neck and the tie in the back, which allows for cinching and additional waist definition. For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size Small.

Notes on cabi Sizing

In my experience, cabi tops and jackets tend to run a bit big, pre-pregnancy, I usually go with a size 0 or XS. To accommodate the bump, I went up to a small in most pieces. On the other hand, the pants and bottoms usually run a bit small, I usually go with a size 4 in jeans and a size small in leggings and joggers (for reference, I’m usually a size 2 or 26 in other brands).
