Festival Must Haves

Spring officially starts this week, and that means festival season is upon us!  One of my favorite things to do during the spring and early summer months is to hit up festivals – my favorites are music festivals and beer festivals.  I’m definitely not a Coachella-type music festival goer, but more of a music-on-the-beach or country music festival goer.

When I used to live in Alabama, the Hangout Music Festival and Magic City Brewfest were my favorites!  And the most unique festival-type experience I’ve ever had was at the Mullet Toss in Gulf Shores, Alabama (if you’ve never been, google it!).

As a fun little addition to today’s post, I shared a couple of throwback photos from these festivals on my Instagram Stories!  Be sure to check them out before they’re gone! =)

One thing I’ve learned through my years of festival going is that there’s definitely some prep that goes into attending!  Especially if it’s a weekend long shindig!

Zenni Optical Sunglasses

One of the best things about spring & summer festivals is that you’re outside!  So you definitely need some fun sunglasses.  Festival atmospheres always allow you to push the envelope on your usual style.  I love the fun styles by Zenni!  This pair is perfect for a fun Saturday out in the sun listening to live music!

Algenist Power Recharging Night Pressed Serum

After being outside all day long, one of the best feelings is washing off all the sweat, makeup, and grit from the day.  This Algenist Power Recharging Night Pressed Serum (available at Ulta!) smells heavenly and is the perfect thing to rehydrate your skin for another full day of festival fun!

Jockey Retro Stripe Collection

I’m all about comfort when I know I’m going to be out and about all day.  The Jockey Retro Stripe Collection offers comfy undergarments that are so cute and nod back to the original festival goers.  Anyone else wish they could travel back in time to experience Woodstock in the flesh?!

LumaBella Keratin Dual Touch Styler

Along with being all about comfort when I know I’ll be out and about all day, I like to keep my hair simple for long days in the sun.  I like the LumaBella Keratin Dual Touch Styler because it’s easy on my hair and makes it easy to add a few messy no-fuss-curls that last throughout the day.

Earth Shoes

Last but not least, and perhaps one of the most important festival must haves, comfortable shoes!  Are these Earth Shoes not the cutest?!  They’re the Tangor style in Dusty Pink Soft Leather.  Not only are they adorable, they’re super comfy.

What’s your favorite spring festival that you’ve attended or one that you’re looking forward to attending?!

Thanks so much to BabbleBoxx.com for sponsoring this post.  As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Such a cute jacket, and great festival suggestions! I went to Bonnaroo once when I was younger, and even though I enjoyed it then, I think my festival days are over. I’m with you on chill brewfests though!

Thanks Katie! I agree – I wish I would have done Bonnaroo a few years ago! But I’m all about the brew fest and wine festivals these days! =)
