Merry & Bright -

It’s Christmas week, y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had such a fun weekend here in DC. Friday night was pretty low key – we popped in one of our favorite neighborhood spots, Etto for pizza and wine. Saturday evening we really amped it up a bit. We ventured over to City Center DC to check out the Christmas decor (that’s where these photos were taken), and ended up grabbing a glass of wine at Fig & Olive. I’m obsessed with their decor and wish my living room looked like their lounge area. Next we braved the crowds, which actually weren’t that bad, and went to see the National Christmas Tree by the White House. Following dinner at MXDC, we went to see Motown the Musical. OH MY GOODNESS. If you have a chance to see this show, it’s a must!! They are currently traveling so check out their schedule! I can’t say enough good things about it. I’m tempted to go see it again while it’s still in DC.

Onto the outfit … I snagged this Loft tunic during their Black Friday sale, but lucky for you, it’s currently 40% off! It has been a great staple in my closet. It’s pretty thin so it’s a great layering piece. I’ve worn it under vests and ponchos as well as on its own. These leather leggings are old, but I’ve seen tons of talk about these from Nordstrom (great price point!), so I think I might have to get me a pair soon! I’ve told y’all about these booties before, but they have been one of my favorite pairs so far this fall/winter. They look great and are pretty comfortable too!
