Back in Black! Happy Monday! I made it back to the U.S. after spending two weeks in Southeast Asia. It was in the mid-nineties every day while we were there, so it was nice to come back to the crisp, cool air in DC. Call me crazy, but I was pretty excited to throw on a pair of jeans yesterday.
This outfit is perfect for the transitioning weather we will be having over the next month or so! This plaid button-up has been a go-to for me all winter as a layering piece. It will be great for the spring too as a stand alone piece. It’s still available at H&M and it’s under $25 – no brainer! Along with the shirt, this jacket may be my favorite purchase of the season. I’ve gotten so much wear out of it. Recently, on a warmer day, I threw it on over a white sun dress and paired it with black booties – perfect for the spring temps that are sure to be right around the corner (fingers crossed)! Hi! Thanks so much! I have a size Medium. It definitely runs small! I ordered a size Small the first go around, and it was very tight across my shoulders and back. The Medium fits perfectly. Looks great over thin tee shirts as well as thicker sweaters! So I would size up.
