Old Navy Swing Dress

When the seasons change from warm to cold, I tend to not be much of a dress gal.  I gravitate towards jeans of all kinds and leggings (duh) to keep me warm.  However, these warmer fall days here in DC have given me the perfect opportunity to give the cooler weather dresses a try.

I’ve become quite the fan of Old Navy’s swing dresses over the past few months.  You may remember when I talked about the deep purple one here.  They are great, and the fabric and fit can’t be beat.  They are so easy to throw on and go.  I mentioned the length of the dress in my previous post, but just as a reminder, I’m 5’4″ and usually go with the petite sizing in Old Navy dresses because the regular sizes seem to be a touch too long on me.  This dress is actually a regular XS, which I like because I can get double duty out of it and wear it to work.  The petite lengths can be worn to work as well so long as you have a conservative, flat shoe to pair with it.  This swing dress is on major sale right now ($17 online!), but the regular sizes are limited, so be sure to click on the petite and tall tabs to try out the different lengths.

A note on my love for this blanket scarf – It’s back in stock!  When I previously posted (and raved) about it, it was sold out in this color, but it’s back so you better snag it before it sells out again!
