3 Tips on How to Shop Amazon for Clothes & Accessories

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that Amazon has become one of my new go-to spots to find clothes, shoes, and accessories.  I’m probably late to the game on this, but up until a month or so ago, I probably placed two Amazon orders per week, but none of those orders were for additions to my closet.  Boy has that changed!  I’ve found that Amazon is a great place to shop for clothing and accessories, and you can’t beat the Prime shipping (if you’re still holding out, you NEED to sign up ASAP, totally worth every penny – you can try it out for free for 30 days).

The one downside of shopping on Amazon is that it can be overwhelming.  There’s SO much to choose from.  I’ve learned a few tricks over the past couple of months that have helped make it easier to find what I’m looking for so I’m not spending hours searching on the Zon.

3 Tips on How to Shop Amazon for Clothes and Accessories

  1. When I begin my search on Amazon, I always like to narrow the results down by brand.  I usually hop on Amazon with a particular product in mind – this makes it much easier.  To my surprise, I’ve discovered that Amazon carries most of the brands that I love, including BB Dakota, Levi’s, J.O.A., Splendid, Adidas, Splits59, Steven by Steve Madden and obviously tons more!

  2. Another easy way to narrow down search results is to check the Prime box in the left-hand column.  I only order items from Amazon that offer Prime shipping.  This not only goes for clothing and accessories, but literally everything I order from Amazon.  P.S. You can find more of my Amazon favorites under The Shop tab on the homepage, just click there and then on the Amazon Favorites tab!

  3. Nothing infuriates me more than having to pay for return shipping.  ALWAYS check to make sure you can return the items for free.  I recently bought this pair of Adidas sneakers, which I LOVE, but I had to check a couple of different listings for them to finally find a seller that offered free returns.

I hope these tips are helpful!  Do you shop Amazon frequently?!
