Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. It snowed a tiny bit in DC on Saturday, and the weather was pretty crummy all day, but regardless, I still had a pretty fun weekend! Has anyone tried out Ambar on Capitol Hill?! It’s a new Balkan restaurant. Michael and I went on Saturday night, and it was amazing! You may have seen me raving about it on Snapchat. 😉 (username: cobaltchronicle) You pay $49 for unlimited tapas and drinks, and the food is outstanding! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and our server and the owners, who stopped by our table, were all so friendly and welcoming. If you live in the area, I highly recommend trying it out!

Moving onto today’s outfit! Y’all, I have found the perfect maxi dress! I snagged this Shopbop maxi dress right before heading to Florida last weekend for a wedding and couldn’t love it more. It’s so lightweight, has a cute cutout back, and is available in so many colors! Thinking I definitely need the black one next! The fabric and the cut make it super easy to dress up or down. It’s so lightweight that you could easily wear it as a cover-up too! I paired it with these casual wedge sandals for the wedding and threw on this dainty Kendra Scott necklace and Kendra Scott studs to finish off the look.
