Happy Monday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and if you’re lucky, you’re enjoying an extra day off for President’s Day!  If you follow along with me on Instagram Stories or Snapchat (cobaltchronicle), you’ve seen that I’ve been talking about the weather all weekend – it has been near 70 degrees every. single. day!  That’s as close as you can get to a weather miracle in D.C. during the month of February!  I took full advantage of the warm weather and broke out a few new spring pieces that I’ve recently added to my closet!

I picked up this entire outfit from one of my favorite hometown boutiques, Imelda’s.  If you’re new around here, I’m from Shreveport, Louisiana, and every time I head home, I always have a list of my go-to spots that I have to hit while I’m in town!  Imelda’s is always on that list!

I wore this Michael Stars cardigan three times this weekend (no shame!).  It’s perfect for spring as it’s super light but still adds an extra layer.  If you couldn’t tell from this post, I’m in love with blush for spring!  So naturally, I gravitated towards this soft pink sleeveless top.  And helllllo – I feel like these white leggings by Spanx deserve some kind of award!  White leggings that actually look good on, aren’t see through, and don’t show any … (cough, cough – dimples!), yes please!  Lastly, these Kenneth Cole wedges are my new BFFs.  They are so incredibly comfortable, which is a must for walking around the city and always being on the go!

I love visiting Imelda’s because it’s a one-stop-shop!  They carry my favorite shoe brands (I picked up the cutest pair of Sam Edelman mules too!), along with the best basic pieces, plus ball gowns for those special occasions.  If you live in the Shreveport area, I highly recommend popping in to check out all Imelda’s has to offer (it’s a lot different than the Imelda’s you once knew!).  And if you see something you love on Imelda’s Instagram or Facebook page, but you don’t live nearby, you’re in luck because they ship!  Just give them a call at 318.865.0175!
