Happy Friday! This week flew by – always a good thing, right?!
Before the week officially started, Michael and I went out to Gibson Island on Sunday to meet up with friends, and y’all. It’s like a dream out there! Gibson Island is a tiny peninsula in Maryland that sits on the Chesapeake Bay. The bright white club house is adorable, and being on the water just does it for me. Also, the best part, it’s less than an hour’s drive from DC!
On Monday I had the opportunity to share a new, local designer with you guys. I’m obsessed with Mimi Miller’s current collection! The shirt in the photo above is from the collection. 🙂 After work on Monday, I met up with Jenn to shoot these photos for a fun Football Fridays series.
Tuesday Monica came over to my apartment for a girls’ night in. It was so nice to chat blogging and just catch up on life. She also introduced me to Zoya nail polish. I’m usually pretty loyal to Essie and OPI, but this polish is pretty awesome! My nails are still going strong four days later (they’re usually all chipped up at this point!).
On Wednesday I shared a fun Q&A with my friend and girlboss, Erin, on why she’s so passionate about Beautycounter. I really loved putting this post together – I could genuinely tell how much she believes in the power of these products! I’m a new fan for sure!
You know how I mentioned in Monday’s post that one of the reasons I love blogging is that it has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people here in DC? Well on Thursday morning I finally connected with Paul in real life! We’ve been connected through Instagram for a while, but it was so nice to meet in person. His photography is pretty amazing. Definitely check him out!
I also added a few new pieces for fall to my closet this week! I’m obsessed with these tassel flats (also available here, seen on here) and these lace up flats (I have the Bordeaux color). I also added the ring featured above to my jewelry collection (c/o). It’s the perfect “everyday” ring. I can’t wait to break out these black booties next weekend on a little trip out west along with this bell sleeve top and this cozy sweater (size down, I ordered the XS first and had to exchange for XXS)!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! And as always, thanks so much for stopping by!
P.S. If you’re in DC, Lululemon is having a “clearing” sale event on Saturday to prepare for their store renovation in Georgetown. Lulu on sale?! You better run …
