3 Pieces You Need for Spring

Blush Bag | Cobalt Chronicles | Washington DC | Style Blogger

Around this time every year, I start to get sick of all the sweaters and boots I’ve been wearing on repeat for the past few months.  Last week I picked up a few new items that really put a pep in my step and made me really excited for spring and the warmer weather to come!

3 Pieces You Need for Spring

Structured Blush Bag

I can’t even with this bag.  It has to be one of the most unique bags in my closet.  The pop of pink is perfect for spring!  And the quality of the bag can’t be beat.  The front flap is a soft suede while the rest of the bag is buttery soft leather.  The flap can also be worn on the outside of the gold metal detailing for a cleaner look, although I’m partial to the hardware.  The bag is currently 25% off with code XOXO and ships for free!  The perfect Valentine’s Day present to treat yo’ self!  🙂

Fun Statement Mules

I think we can all agree that I have a thing for mules (see here, here, and here).  I love to have fun with my shoes, especially flats.  My style is relatively neutral so I like pairing a fun statement mule with an otherwise tame look just to add some interest.  These blush mules are AMAZING.  They are super soft, very comfortable, and just adorable!  I get asked a lot if I have trouble keeping mules on my feet … the answer is nope, I don’t!  You need these in your closet for spring!

An Airy Button Down

I love this billowy button down!  The sleeves have a slight balloon affect to them, which makes the shirt super playful.  It’s available in another color stripe too but I’m partial to the navy and pink combo.  It runs a bit oversized, I’m wearing a size XS, and it’s under $50!  For this look I did a little front tuck and added my favorite Madewell belt (wearing an XS).  Since it is in fact still February, I threw on my favorite teddy coat to add another layer.

I’m ignoring what Punxsutawney Phil said and willing spring into existence by breaking out all of my spring pieces.  Bring on the warmer weather!
