Happy Friday! What a week! The first half of the week seemed to drag on, but then Hurricane Laura swept into the picture. We prepped here in Houston but thankfully came out unscathed. Louisiana wasn’t so lucky. Praying for all of those affected by the storm. One more thing no one needed piled on this year.
With the unnecessary, uncalled for, and reckless shooting of Jacob Blake by officers in Kenosha, Wisconsin in the news this week, I wanted to share this post again here: The Opposite of Hate is Not Love … It is Indifference and share again that Black Lives Matter. When is this going to stop?

Weekend Plans
After being out of town last week and weekend, I’m looking forward to a chill weekend here in Houston. Michael and I have zero plans. Planning on getting in a long walk on both Saturday and Sunday, picking up takeout, and watching a couple of movies! 🙂

Topshop Space Dye Sweater // I snagged this sweater from the Nordstrom Sale and shockingly it’s still fully stocked! I ordered a size small and my mom ordered a medium. We agree it runs TTS. It’s SO cute in person! And so cozy! Yes, this was one of my favorites last week too, but the NSale ends THIS SUNDAY! So snag it while it’s on sale!
Amazon Shoulder Pad Tee // I’m wearing this top in the photo above! I’ve been eyeing this new trend, and when I saw this tee on Amazon for $24, I thought I’d try it out! I love it! I’m wearing a size small. It’s available in tons of colors. Thinking I need another one! I wore it twice this week. I threw on a long cardigan over it while at my desk one day – the shoulder pads aren’t noticeable when layered.
