Custom Beach Bags with Custom Ink -

Every year since I can remember, my family has headed down to Destin, Florida for a few days of summer vacation at the beach. Out of all the places I’ve traveled, it’s really hard to beat the Gulf Coast. It’s like coming home every time I visit!

When my sister and I were younger, every summer we each got to bring a friend along on our beach trips. Now my brother-in-law and Michael have taken over those spots. Over the years, we’ve gotten into a pretty set routine … we wake up early, a few of us get in a good sweat session at the gym or by taking a long walk/run before breakfast, we all snack on goods we picked up from the grocery, and then we head out to the beach for the morning hours!

When lunchtime rolls around, we all usually head up to our condo for a mix of turkey sandwiches and chicken salad. Our afternoons consist of more sun on the beach with a few beers and maybe a piña colada or two mixed in. We like to venture out for dinner so we’re always looking for good seafood spots to try out! Most nights end with ice cream and an early-ish bedtime. The perfect beach day!

Custom Beach Bags with Custom Ink

To celebrate this year’s trip, I partnered with Custom Ink to design beach totes for our group of six! I truly am happiest when I’m by the ocean (lake, river, really any body of water!) so having the bags customized with happiest by the water was a no brainer.

The design process was super easy and actually a lot of fun! After I decided on the phrase, I added in a row of palms since these are beach totes after all. As a way to remember this particular trip, I added in the year. After 30 years of traveling to the beach, the trips start to run together a bit …

Along with designing the print on the bag, I was able to choose the color of the bag as well as the font color. I stuck to ocean hues and chose the navy boat totes with turquoise type. They turned out so cute!
