I work from home, but I typically get fully dressed, yes hair and makeup included, almost every day of the week. It makes me feel more put together and in turn amps up my productivity. I also love wearing all of my clothes! I try my best to snap a quick photo every morning when I get dressed to document my outfits. Here’s what I wore over the past week (or so).
Early Fall Outfit Ideas
Sezane Button Up, Madewell Belt, Sezane Jeans, Amazon Sandals
My favorite purchase from our Europe trip this past summer … this Sezane button up. The lightweight material is perfect for fall in the south. I love the fun print. I’m wearing size 6. It does not fit oversized. It’s definitely more tailored. I paired it with my Sezane Le Crop Denim (fit TTS), I’m 5’4″ for length reference. This belt has earned its spot in my closet! I wear it all the time. It instantly makes me feel cool (even though I’m far from it). I’m wearing the XS. These sandals have been such a great purchase! Designer inspired, under $50. Fit TTS.
Abercrombie Tee, Sezane Jeans, J.Crew Sandals
I can’t stop wearing my new Sezane Le Crop Denim (fit TTS). I bought these in Europe this summer as well. This is an example of a super casual look that still looks put together. I paired my jeans with the perfect white tee! Wearing size small. I wore these J.Crew sandals all summer long (only a few sizes left in stock).
Abercrombie Sweater, Gap Mockneck Tank, Everlane Shorts, Madewell Belt
These Everlane shorts have been a great addition to my closet this summer! They’re proving to be easy to style for early fall too (especially in the south where it’ll be hot for quite sometime). They’re only available in a few sizes, so I wanted to share these from Madewell too! I tried these on in store and LOVED them. They’re almost identical to the Everlane pair and fully stocked! I always size down one size in Madewell bottoms.
I paired the shorts with this basic mockneck tank (going on year two with this piece, I have it in white too). The Madewell belt strikes again! And these designer inspired flats (under $50). I threw this Abercrombie sweater on over my shoulders since I was planning to work at a coffee shop on this particular morning (wearing size XS).
Sezane Button Up, Madewell Jeans, Sam Edelman Mesh Flats
Another Sezane button down, but this one is a heavier material and has snap buttons. I’m wearing a size 6. Sezane can do no wrong with its button downs! I paired the top with my favorite Madewell jeans (size down one size from usual denim size). I actually just bought these in another wash, they’re so good! These mesh flats are surprisingly one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes in my closet! And I always receive compliments on them! They fit TTS.
Gap Mockneck Tank, Madewell Jeans, Madewell Belt, Amazon Sandals
I wore this outfit for a back to school event at Weldon’s school. The same Madewell jeans, Gap mockneck tank, Madewell belt, and designer inspired shoes as in the outfits above. What can I say, I love these pieces!
Madewell Button Down, Sezane Jeans, Adidas Sneakers
This is my typical outfit on days where I want to be super comfortable and cozy but still look put together. This button up is by Madewell from last year. I love the cut. I’m wearing size XXS. I paired it with my Sezane Le Crop Denim (fit TTS) and my Adidas Handball Spezial sneakers. I ditched the no-show socks and went with these instead as I’m attempting to up my sock game this fall.
Madewell Jeans, Cropped Sweater Vest, Striped Sweater, Adidas Sneakers
I’ll leave you with this monochromatic look. I paired my Madewell jeans with a cropped sweater top that I’ve had for several years (I love investing in pieces like this!) (similar linked here) and my Adidas Handball Spezial sneakers.
