I’m exited to share today’s post as it’s giving me all the fall feels! As much as I love summertime and the warm temps, I always look forward to fall! Truth be told, I like dressing for fall MUCH more than any other season! Bring on the layers!

I put together 6 cute fall outfit ideas using pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Even if you don’t purchase these specific pieces from the sale, I hope these outfit ideas inspire you to pull pieces from your closet to put together new outfit combinations as we roll into the fall season!

Weekend or Work from Home Fall Outfit Ideas

I tend to purchase a rainbow sweater each fall – 2018 here, 2019 here. I love the unexpected color combo during the fall season. This year, Topshop has a great rainbow sweater available in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I always size up to a size 4 in Topshop sweaters. For this fall outfit idea, I paired the sweater with high waisted, wide leg, slightly cropped denim. I love the fit of Levi’s jeans. They rarely have any stretch to them so I usually go with a size 27.

With cropped denim, I always pair a higher shaft ankle boot similar to this Steve Madden Boot. I love that the color of the boots match the cognac color of this crossbody bag! To finish off the look, I added gold accessories, both by Gorjana (one of my favorite jewelry brands!).

Free People Sweater | Free People Jeans | Sam Edelman Mules | Spanx Leggings | Nike Air Max | Claire V. Bag

There’s nothing cozier than an oversized sweater for fall. I included two ways to style this Free People sweater (or any oversized sweater in your closet). These type of sweaters pair perfectly with skinny jeans. I picked this distressed pair by Free People. I like that they’re high waisted and skinny all the way through the ankle. For this look, a mule pairs perfectly! I love the snakeskin print in this pair (also available in black and cream).

For the second outfit idea, and maybe a more comfortable work from home or weekend wear option, pair the oversized sweater with Spanx leather leggings. Any leggings will do, but the faux leather really steps the look up a notch. You could easily wear the mules with this outfit too. I included a pair of Nike Air Max sneakers to relax the look a bit.

It’s hard to go wrong with a white tee and jeans! For this outfit idea, I paired a classic white tee with a pair of slightly cropped, high-waisted, straight leg jeans. What I love about styling outfits for fall is layering! I included two different looks here. You can easily swap out pieces or even layer the teddy coat over the cardigan for extra warmth.

I love an oversized cardigan for fall! This Topshop cardigan is perfectly oversized. And the oatmeal color goes with everything. An easy, casual way to style this look is to add a chic sneaker. I love these Veja sneakers. The velcro adds a fun, unexpected touch!

I have a very similar teddy coat from last season (seen here!). It’s a great throw on and go coat! I found that the rust brown color goes with almost anything! If you’ve been looking to add a new coat to your closet, I promise you’ll get lots of wear out of this one. Last but not least, I added in a pair of easy to wear, low heeled booties. These boots are another super versatile piece. An added bonus, they’re waterproof!

Since we’ve been spending lots of extra time at home lately, I figured we all needed a little cozy at-home outfit idea inspiration. I love a matching sweat set! This sweatshirt and joggers are available in lots of colors and patterns. I’m partial to the tie dye and the star print. I’m also a sucker for UGG slippers! I always have a pair in my closet. This new style might be the coziest style UGG has come out with to date!

To add a little more coziness at home, I included a set of beautiful Le Labo candles (break the set up for great small holiday gifts too!). And if candles aren’t you’re thing, an essential oils diffuser is a great way to freshen up your home and create cozy fall vibes!

Last but not least, I had to include the Barefoot Dreams blanket. It’s pricey, but marked down for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Not only is this a great addition to your own home, but it makes a great holiday gift too!
